Now Agrino rice products are grown with procedures certified by EUREPGAP (Euro Retailer Produce Working Group - Good Agricultural Practice) and bear an agricultural exploitation code, conform to the international specification I.F.A. (Integrated Farm Assurance).
For the first time, on a European level, a rice producing company applies the I.F.A. specification and mentions the name of the grower and the cultivation area of the product on the package.
1. What are products of "Good Agricultural Practice"?
Products of which the production is based on the values of "Good Agricultural Practice", which are:
a. The health and security of the consumer, i.e. correct usage of fertilizer and pesticides, approved by EU legislation.
b. The protection of the environment, i.e. lowest possible use of water.
c. The safety of the grower
d. The complete recording of the cultivation process.

2. What exactly is the EUREPGAP protocol?
It is a worldwide acknowledged commercial protocol, designed by the international cooperation between European retailers and growers associations, destined to create a common model for good agricultural practice to be implemented worldwide. It offers an opportunity to both the growers and the industry to:

b. Ensure the TRUST of the consumer
3. What is traceability?
It constitutes one of the main parts of the EUREPGAP protocol and concerns the complete traceability of the products up to the place of cultivation. This increases the confidence the consumer has in the cultivation methods of the products he consumes.
