in Agrinion, in Western Greece, when the brothers Evstratios, Evthymios and Georgios realize their plan to trade rice.

1962:
In 1962 the brothers buy the premises of the company «Greek Rice Mills» and focus the activities of the company on the production and sales of rice products.

1969: Agrino is the name that is given to the company's standardized products. These are packed in the pioneer paper bag with the cellophane window, a package which made the Agrino products known and loved by the Greek consumers.

1970: From the 70's on, the rice range consists of all greek white varieties as well as of parboiled rice.

1980: Since the 80's the Agrino products hold the first position in the Greek consumers' preferences.

1990: The 1990's are characterized by the development of all levels. In 1993 the company enters the pulses market, packing this range in a square bottom, transparant bag.

1998: With the completion of the state-of-the-art factory in Thessaloniki, the company significantly increases the production capacity.

1999: Agrino enriches its product range with the creation of the semi-ready meals Agrino Specialtés and the launching of Basmati rice.

2001: The ISO 9002 certificate from TUV Germany and the observance of the HACCP specifications confirm the high quality standards of the company.

2002:
The company is awarded by the Athens Chamber of Commerce & Industry with the «best branded product» prize and by the international fair SIAL for the Agrino Specialités.

2003: The new category of quick cooking rice is packed in a carton box with easy open.

2003: The italian rice Carnaroli, unique for risotto, is added to the Exotic range.
